The Bio Lab System is a gradient system for complex purifications of biomolecules on a laboratory scale. This system is designed to optimize any FPLC application (affinity, ion exchange, hydrophobic interaction and size exclusion chromatography). All modules are interchangeable and can be added to optimize the configuration for your specific purification.

The standard system includes two biocompatible buffer pumps to form a reliable buffer gradient. A quarternary low pressure pump is an option, which will automatically blend your buffers. Alternatively is a one channel can be used for convenient sample application. Monitor your salt gradient using a conductivity monitor and inject samples via the multi injection valve, which also allows integration of the sample pump to inject large sample volumes. Detection of your samples is carried out by the integrated variable multi UV wavelength detector and collected by the fraction collector. An column selection valve allows you to switch between different columns, which in combination with an optional outlet valve facilitates for automated two step purifications.

The system is controlled via the user friendly FPLC software PurityChrom, which offers a high flexibility in method developement and provides you with complete control over the whole system at any stage of the purification.
